Abstract

Banana cultivation has considerable economic importance. India alone contributes 25 per cent of banana production in the world. The export incomes from banana are to the tune of Rs.l8 crores annually. Hence, the current study is an try to analyse the effect of socioeconomic characteristics on the satisfaction of banana cultivation in Tirunelveli district of Tamilnadu.
